Asher Browne grew up in New York, where he studied the Fine Arts before moving to Japan for eight years. After graduating from Kansai University of Foreign Studies, he embarked on a quest to learn the principles of Japanese gardening. Asher spent a total of four years training at two different companies in Kyoto, Japan. During that time, he completed Kyoto’s prestigious Zoen Kumiai certification program for craftsmen. He has also studied gardening at the Adachi Art Museum, internationally known for the beauty of its renowned gardens.
