Building Japanese Gardens is Our Passion

From Concept to Completion

A complex array of artistic and technical skills goes into the construction of a Japanese garden space. Selecting stone pieces of interest, putting together rock arrangements, building paths, walls, decorative fences, planting specimen trees, setting stone ornaments, and creating lighting schemes are all distinct aspects of the process that we strive to mesh seamlessly.

Our aim is to not only create a beautiful landscape once completed, but to build it with the long-term development of specimen trees, shrubs and other plants in mind. Just as our many years of experience in Japanese garden construction inform our designs, the thousands of hours spent doing pruning and maintenance in Kyoto’s famous gardens has provided great insight into how to guide these landscapes into the future.
